Reminiscence

A reminiscence of my child hood incident, when i got a nice spanking from my hindi teacher.... for a spelling mistake, while writing “no” ( nahi) in devanagri, i used smaller version of the matraa “ e “ in “nahi ” . back then learning the correct matra was crucial for my passing the exams. So i did learnt how to write nahi but as a punishment she asked me to fill 20 pages of my note book with nahi, nahi nahi, nahiiiiiiii..............
13 yrs after, now i wonder how does it matters if can’t write nahi correctly or any other hindi word in devnagri script......
Few days back (being electrical engineer) i had to write electricity in hindi ( viidyut) i could hardly figure it out ...... man how does one write vidyut ......!! & nirikshan (inspection) & Gyan & many more...... i can write them in Roman Script in java script, VB script but not in the one it is intended for.......
Since the inability to write those words correctly has no implications on my profession ...... why take pains to learn it again
Nor does it matters even if can’t speak it, at least professionally........ Unless am a politician or in film industry but we know at least two people by now, who manage to excel, even if they can’t ...... no need to tell their names.............. we all know them for their inability (or as if a capabilityas she flaunts it ). It appears that speaking hindi in strange and alien accent is the in thing ..........
So the national language survives on rules made by CBSE and Government, making hindi compulsory for certain procedure and curriculum....... is the national language in danger of absolution...... kya hoga ab hamri identity ka ....... hamari raaj bhashaa ka..... but i see another saviour of our hindi...... guess what.....
Bollywood ...... it is known to have popularised the language far beyond geographical and political limits of india..... and would continue to do so..........
and we the people of India.... still enjoy abusing in hindi ....... hindi is the language of first preference when it comes to slang.... imagine someone bangs ur car from behind and u abusing him/her in English........ that simply won't work neither ull get the satisfaction, nor will the anger and frustration be vented out ............... so resort to hindi then................ the point is if emotions are riding high.... well prefer hindi to express them, be it fury or love ..........

  2. No doubt hindi is "raaj Bhasha" but demand of the tym is to go with internation language, for a developing country like ours. Plz don't count me Japan, china, or others...

Most if the tym people stay cool or hv to show coolness.... Mother language is best used at the tym of anger...It releaves !!!

    Nice one...Hindustan ke pyare dil...

" kuch pata laga kahan ja raha hai ....... " " hmm ........ " " JHABUA "....................... and we all repeated JhabuaaaAAAAAA ......... (repeated and laughed in chorus) till there coffee spilled out of cup................. jhabua is a tribal district on border of MP and Gujrat ..... as remote as the name sounds........ and the famous phrase was born ...... why should a person get married.. after lots of discussions and introspection i cud figure out a few good reasons : 1 After a certain age it  wud  be difficult to find better matches because: a) As we all know about the skewed sex ratio in India, most of the eligible  women are already committed by the time. Assumptions : Women are not waiting too long to get committed as men  do, a girl is most probable to get married by 29 max. while a man may wait  up to 35max. b) Most-eligible women would be picked up earliest so  wuts  left would be  lacking quality as well. 2 Even if we  didnt  knew the importance of algebra we did studied it accepting it  just as part of  system, while i was still thinking why we need to study this  boring thing , mathematics teacher had finished off the chapter. But some  how i managed to learn it. any way the point is algebra came out to be quit a  use full tool. ...
