Butterfly Effect

Every year in spring time swarms of butterflies arrived and we were busy catching them...... one who gets his hands on the larger and most colour full one wud be the champ ............. but i was into this not to be a champ, but to hold in my hands a most amazing flying creature (for me at least) so beautiful and delicate (that i only realized later). But the problem was we cant hold them cuz our hold on there wings, damaged them and colours from there wings stuck to my fingers .......... that was so surprising how can she leave her colour ....that was really strange. So we decided to make a big Sand Castle to keep our catch..... it was collective wisdom of all the kids there, big small and little ones too .....
Huge sand castle with walls reinforced with sticks and twigs, windows covered with polythene, a main door and a roof made of translucent polythene. It was the best we cud make. Then the frenzy started, soon the castle was full with butterflies every ones catch in it.... we were like monsters peeping inside the castle locating there owe butterfly......
By evening almost all little flyers inside castle were grounded, with there wings numb due to moisture inside the castle most of them were in-capable of flying, discolored and lying motionless.
Immediately doors where opened to rescue them but of no use hardly 2-3 of them could fly.
That was shocking while the mechanical brain kinds where busy figuring out what had happened to them and started to figure out a improved Sand Castle Design, other children could only pity the grounded flyers .
That was a important lesson learnt .. that we cant keep all that is beautiful for our self ..... we learnt to cherish beauty of creation of god the way it is in nature. Beauty of those butterflies was to be praised loved and cherished there in the gardens when they r free and flying. The principle can be extrapolated to other aspects of life much beyond butterflies................
like not every beautiful rose could be yours...

Reminiscence

A reminiscence of my child hood incident, when i got a nice spanking from my hindi teacher.... for a spelling mistake, while writing “no” ( nahi) in devanagri, i used smaller version of the matraa “ e “ in “nahi ” . back then learning the correct matra was crucial for my passing the exams. So i did learnt how to write nahi but as a punishment she asked me to fill 20 pages of my note book with nahi, nahi nahi, nahiiiiiiii..............
13 yrs after, now i wonder how does it matters if can’t write nahi correctly or any other hindi word in devnagri script......
Few days back (being electrical engineer) i had to write electricity in hindi ( viidyut) i could hardly figure it out ...... man how does one write vidyut ......!! & nirikshan (inspection) & Gyan & many more...... i can write them in Roman Script in java script, VB script but not in the one it is intended for.......
Since the inability to write those words correctly has no implications on my profession ...... why take pains to learn it again
Nor does it matters even if can’t speak it, at least professionally........ Unless am a politician or in film industry but we know at least two people by now, who manage to excel, even if they can’t ...... no need to tell their names.............. we all know them for their inability (or as if a capabilityas she flaunts it ). It appears that speaking hindi in strange and alien accent is the in thing ..........
So the national language survives on rules made by CBSE and Government, making hindi compulsory for certain procedure and curriculum....... is the national language in danger of absolution...... kya hoga ab hamri identity ka ....... hamari raaj bhashaa ka..... but i see another saviour of our hindi...... guess what.....
Bollywood ...... it is known to have popularised the language far beyond geographical and political limits of india..... and would continue to do so..........
and we the people of India.... still enjoy abusing in hindi ....... hindi is the language of first preference when it comes to slang.... imagine someone bangs ur car from behind and u abusing him/her in English........ that simply won't work neither ull get the satisfaction, nor will the anger and frustration be vented out ............... so resort to hindi then................ the point is if emotions are riding high.... well prefer hindi to express them, be it fury or love ..........

jhabua

This was my third transfer in a year................. and one of colleague having good connections........ was determined to make out....... where i am being transferred........ as exact orders where not issued.......
while he was on cell connected to his connection we all stood by his side listening to his conversation ........ and he said..................
"kuch pata laga kahan ja raha hai ....... "
"hmm........ "
" JHABUA"....................... and we all repeated JhabuaaaAAAAAA......... (repeated and laughed in chorus) till there coffee spilled out of cup.................
jhabua is a tribal district on border of MP and Gujrat..... as remote as the name sounds........ and the famous phrase was born ...... "Jhabua gaya babua "....... and all of them changed my contact details .....................
now am "Jhabua" in there phone books or may b in there conversations too.......... :)
this is the way it began............
my train arrived at 11:30 pm at meghnagar,.............. Jhabua is like half an hour from this place.......
company cab was ready to receive me with a driver and guards armed with 12 bore rifles........ suddenly i was a VIP with armed guards for security............
making this secure PSU job even more secure ................... :)
guards told me....... the tribal s here smear there arrows in poison (scorpions or some shrub ) and ambush vehicles on the way to jhabua........
quit interesting information for a person destined to jhabua first time in life................. actually this is the beginning..............
